Christian Louboutin Unveils His First Beauty Boutique

Christian Louboutin has just opened his first beauty boutique in Paris where the nail polish bottles are the central focus, as he described “trapped in a piece of faceted crystal.”

For Louboutin, it was very important to house his boutique in the beautiful and charming 19th century parisian galerie Passage Vero-Dodat – it is also the home of his women’s and men’s flagship stores. Louboutin is right to describe his beauty store as “small shop or a big shrine, but completely dedicated to beauty.”

The beautiful façade is registered as a historial landmark but the interior was a collaboration between Louboutin and the renowed interior architect Pierre Yovanovitch.

Passing throu the entrance, visitors and clients will feel inmersing inside a “luminescent faceted room with matte  silky white walls adorned with small alcoves.” The idea is to display Christian Louboutin’s nail polishes as objects of art.

I am not sure about the fact that the entire store is about nail polish, however, it is tasteful and elegant. The store reflects Louboutin’s artisanal taste: Hainaut blue stone floor, burnt wood furniture, etc. It is definitely a nice place to visit whilst in Paris.
