The World Cup 2014 started 2 weeks ago and so far we have enjoyed great Football (or Soccer, for our american readers :)), awesome matches and excellent goals. I have to be honest, I am always excited about the World Cup – I like football but what I love more is to party at friends, having a good time cheering for our teams.
My favourite team is Brazil, has always been. I spent some years their with my parents when I was a teenager and it was one of the best experiences of my life. It is a beautiful country and brazilians are great people – and when it comes to football, they don’t only want to win, they want to make their country proud by playing what they call “jogo bonito“.
Even if you didn’t understand much about football, even if your team was not playing anymore: Football Parties would always be a good excuse to put on a nice outfit! Whether you are heading out to a sports bar with friends or throwing your own festive bash with mates, don’t sacrifice your style!
The trends for the world cup are sporty yet chic (festive t-shirts, stellar accessories, crop tops, flipflops etc), you will easily find something stylish to wear. BTW style, I have been wondering if all that black and white combinations for spring was a sign that designers got sweapt up in the world cup fever….
