When we daily check our social media feed,  there is always a lot of information, stimuli, photos. It is not so easy for most of us to become our own brand and to stand out from the crowd.

Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr know what takes to master a picture-perfect instagram (they are the founders of WhoWhatWear.com). Check out the advices they shared:

1. TAKE AN INTERESTING BEAUTIFUL PHOTO: Play with different apps and look at some of your favourite Instagram photos, get inspired by them.

I inherited these beautiful branches from @pdolkas after a shoot with @justincoit, lucky me!

2. DON’T BE ALWAYS ON THE SPOT LIGHT: The recipe for cool instagrams are “The skill of being able to compose a beautiful and interesting photo + Being more interested in the world outside than selfies + Reveal your personality on your photos”.

3. SHOW YOUR PERSONALITY IN EVERYTHING YOU DO: Give some hints of yourself -references to a movie, great quotes, song lyrics or “something really deadpan and dry and observational”.

4. STAY POSITIVE: Don’t go on rants about people, things or companies.

5. PRACTICE EVERYTHING IN MODERATION: Selfies are a “branding exercise” but sometimes less is more.
