2015 was the year for exclusive handbags, from Chloé to Gucci and Givenchy – one It-Bag after the other! I hope 2016 will also bring many surprises when it comes to the much-loved labels but let’s not forget lables that are on the brink of notoreity and deserve major attention. The designer of these bags are no more than Nicholas Knightly, director of Louis Vuitton’s leather goods and creator of Mulberry’s iconic Bayswater. Now he has invested on his own collection, Mallet & Co. Although  its release was just one month ago, Mallet & Co has everything to be one of the stars of 2016.

This brand was launched in 2014 by Pookie and Louisa Burch as an american sportwear lable inspired by minimalism. From trousers to bags, the relaxed and playful details represents the real persomal daily style. The leather is stiff, which helps the bag to keep its original form.

Believe it or not, this brand is designed by the former basketball player, artist, perfumer and designer Ben Gorham of Byredo. Byredo trademark is the clean line and a minimalistic design.
