A couple of weeks ago I have told you guys that I would not be online as much because I was renovating my home.
I don’t know about you but every two or three years I get completly bored by everything in my home… suddenly nothing is good enough and it is time to sort things around the house and decide what is staying or going.
It is not all done yet: there are still a few minor things to do such as lighting installation (like for my Hollywood mirror in my closet) and hanging up pictures. However, most of the work is done and I am looking forward to sharing with you how beautiful my flat has become.
Let’s start the tour, shall we?
Hallway
I love this hallway – we have changed everything about it! The colour on one wall is a sort of pale fuchsia rose and white for a contrast. The mirror on the side wall is not facing the entry door (what is a good Feng shui, so I have heard!).
Living Room
The living room is cozy and bright – outside there is a lot of greenery. It is the perfect room to spend time with friends, play board games or to watch a good movie.
I love curtains and these curtains for living room are amazing!
Study
Because my life at the moment is between business and university, this room has become one of most important place in my home. I love plants and flowers and they could not be missing here too, summer time most of my plants are outside though.
Roof-Deck
As I told you guys, outside there is a lot of green: flowers, herbs, palm trees, etc. It is the perfect place for yoga and meditation.
Master Bedroom
I still have to hang a few pictures on the wall but this is already my favourite room (even my dog loves to spend time in here).
Closet
I love my closet and I have tried to remake it exactly the way I dreamed of. I know it is odd but I having been spending time on my “Audrey Hepburn” corner reading – it feels so good in there looking over my plants.
Bathroom
We haven’t done much in the bathroom but we have added a few plants and these are what I would like to show you. All the plants we have in there are plants that don’t need direct light and that can survive humid conditions.
I hope you have enjoyed a tour around my home. If you have any idea or advices to share with us, feel free to write a comment. See you!
