If you want to make your wardrobe standout this summer, than you should try the citrus colour of the season. From Narciso Rodriguez to Hermes – from Christian Dior to Carolina Herrera, the vibrant colour appeared on multiple runways and brought a fresh feeling to Spring/Summer 2014.
The most difficult thing about our new favourite colour is that you have to find the right shape and the right outfit add-ons to a perfect look – even making the colour suitable to a daily street/work outfit.
Do you like orange but don’t know how to use it? Try pairing the colour of the season with modern neutrals with texture – it will complement the solid piece in Orange you’ve chosen.
If you think that orange is not your colour or daring to wear an orange skirt is too much for you, what about orange footwear?
The bombshell colour is the new black, say goodbye to shades of pale cause whether it’s shoes, lipsticks, swimsuits or cocktail dresses, there is no better colour to enliven and brighten your wardrobe.

Orange is a beautiful color but I really did not buy invest in orange clothing and accessories until I encountered an orange silk top about a year ago at LOFT. I decided to take the leap and I am so glad I did. I receive so many compliments when I wear it. Orange and blue; particularly, navy blue, look superb together. I also like pairing orange with pink shades. This is such a good post. Orange deserves to get as much attention as some of the more popular shades. It is such a vibrant shade. It is a great pick-me up, for me, on gloomy weather days too.

Hi Sharon,
thank you for stopping by and commenting. I love orange too… Carolina Herrera once said “Orange is the new red”. If red suits you, so will orange, all you have to do is to find the perfect shade – and also have the courage to wear it.
