Evans, an U.K. and Ireland based retailer, hosted the first plus-size runaway show at the London Fashion Week. The colourful and fashion-forward collection was designed in collaboration with high-end designers, such as Giles Deacon and Clements Ribeiro.
Check out their collection, the many bright colour and bold print clothes – because fashion is not only for the straight-size market.
Evans and Topshop are owened by the same company, Arcadia Group. Sir Philip Green, CEO of the Arcadia Group, had the idea to present Evans collection at the London Fashion Week and in an interview he said:
“You can’t ignore the (plus-size) market place. And you can’t be defensive about it, or apologise about it. Why should the category be any different from petite?”
